- Instructions:
- For computers that have an S-Video out plug
- 1. Connect S-video cable to the laptop S-video port
- 2. Connect S-video cable to Pocket Projector "AV in" cable (yellow to yellow)
- 3. Connect Pocket Projector AV in cable to the Pocket Projector headphone jack
- Then
- 4. Open up your graphic card’s control centre: For Windows Vista – right click on your desktop and select the graphic card control centre For Windows XP – go to “Control panel”, “Display”, “Settings” tab, “Advanced” button, then select the graphic card control centre tab For Mac OS – go to Mac Help and search for “Displayport” 6. In the display settings, extend your desktop to the pocket projector as your 2nd monitor
- 5. Set the screen resolution for the pocket projector to 640x480
- 6. If your computer can’t detect the Pocket Projector, enable forced TV functions
- How to connect to media players
- (mobile phones, video⁄music players, digital camcorders⁄cameras & portable media players, including Apple devices)
- 1. Ensure that your media player supports TV out
- 2. Connect media player-dedicated TV out cable to media player
- 3. Connect the RCA (male) connectors of the TV out cable to the RCA (female) connectors of the Pocket projector AV in cable (yellow to yellow, white to white, red to red)
- 4. Connect Pocket Projector AV in cable to the Pocket Projector headphone jack
- Then
- 5. On your Pocket Projector, select “AV in” when you are asked to select “AV in” or “Audio out”
- 6. On your media player, follow any prompts to allow the Pocket Projector to display AV IN Media-player-dedicated TV out Media player

- How to play PowerPoint presentations – PowerPoint 2002 or 2003
- 1. Once you have connected your laptop to the Pocket Projector, open the PowerPoint presentation to be projected
- 2. On the “Slide show” menu, click Set Up Show
- 3. Under “Multiple Monitors”, select the “Show Presenter View” check box
- 4. In the “Display Slide Show” on list, select “Monitor 2”
- 5. Launch the slide show
- 6. Use your keyboard cursor keys or mouse track roller to switch between slides
- How to play PowerPoint presentations – PowerPoint 2007
- 1. Once you have connected your laptop to the Pocket Projector, open the PowerPoint presentation to be projected
- 2. On the “Slide show” tab:
- a. Change “Resolution” to “640x480”
- b. Change “Show Presentation On” to “Monitor 2”
- c. Select “Use Presenter View”
- 3. Launch the slide show
- 4. Use your keyboard cursor keys or mouse track roller to switch between slides
- How to convert PowerPoint presentations to jpg format for playback via an external SD card
- 1. Go to “File” menu
- 2. Select “Save as”, “Other formats”
- 3. Select “jpeg” from list of options
- 4. Save onto an SD card
- Please note that for a clear PowerPoint presentation, a font size of 20+ is recommended
- How to convert files to the correct playable format
- 1. Insert Arcsoft Media Converter disc (supplied with Pocket Projector) into your computer, run the .exe file, and install the Arcsoft Media Converter when prompted – the program now permanently on your computer
- 2. Start Arcsoft Media Converter
- 3. Select “Add file”
- 4. Browse to the image, video or audio file to be converted, select the file and press “Open”
- 5. Open all the files to be converted
- 6. Select the folder icon next to “Local Directory”, find a location for the new file to be saved and press “Ok”
- 7. Select “Start”
- 8. The file will take a few moments to convert, once it is complete you will get a confirmation of the conversion – click close
